Joel Becker

I am currently a Member of Technical Staff at METR and Founder/CEO of Qally's.

Before this, I worked at FTX Foundation, the Global Priorities Institute, Harvard, and the Institute for Fiscal Studies. I was an economics graduate student at NYU and did my undergraduate degree at the University of Bristol.

I also regranted through Manifund, became the most profitable bettor on Manifold Markets, co-ran a statistics consultancy advising professional football teams, hosted a social media presence peaking at 300,000 followers, and was the inaugural chair of the UK's largest Young Labour constituency organization. In spare time I enjoy a good sing-along, keeping physically (and financially!) healthy, and cultivating my digital garden.
