Joel Becker

I am currently building civilizational resilience organizations coming out of SHELTER Weekend, as well as learning about AI threat models and fit.

Previously, I worked at FTX Foundation, the Global Priorities Institute, Harvard University, and the Institute for Fiscal Studies. I was an economics graduate student at New York University and an undergraduate at the University of Bristol.

I also co-owned a statistics consultancy advising professional football teams, hosted a social media presence peaking at 300,000 followers, and was the inaugural chair of the UK's largest Young Labour constituency organisation. In spare time I enjoy a good sing-along and keeping healthy.
